On - -, - I transferred - shares of - ( - ) out of my Morgan Stanley account into my - brokerage account. All the shares were deposited, however the cost basis was never updated via -. I have called and contacted both - and Morgan Stanley since then multiple times, but I still do not have the cost basis. Currently I have a ticket open with Morgan Stanley ( # -, opened on - -, - ) but no one has followed up or resolved my issue. I ca n't sell these shares without proper cost basis as it will have tax implications. Please help resolve this issue!
