I applied for a loan on Saturday to get a car and found out that Santander was reporting me as late four times for 90 days. In actuality, I requested Santander to pick-up my van -/-/- as a voluntary repossession. They repossessed it a few days before - - -. -/-/-, they contacted me acting as if I still had the car. I had to contact the company that had repo'ed the car to provide proof that it was not returned to me. Fast forward to this past Saturday when I found out that - has never reported the repossession but has it as if I still have the car but am in arrears! The last time they reported was in -/-/- which dropped my - credit score from - to -! As a result, I was unable to received bank financing for a car!! Since they have reported me 90 days late since they repo'ed the car, I suspect my credit score has been taken a hit since then. This caused me not to be able to get a house through FHA because my score was too low!
