Dear Sir/Madam : I 've just read an article about problems with the lender Navient. I 've been paying a student loan for many years now and I 'm based in - and working for the - -. I usually call Navient from abroad to make payments and at least twice a year for the past two years my loan payments have been misposted ( Instead of making a payment against the federal loan and a payment against the private loan, the payment is being posted to only the federal loan ). Since I 'm in - I do n't get phone calls about late payments, until my aunt contacts me here saying that Navient has been calling her about late bills. And they have called her at least 10 times in one day!! Is n't that harassment? At any rate, I 'm usually on time with my payments, it 's just frustrating and time consuming to call and request that adjustments be made to my account to apply payments as per my original request. I really thought my case was isolated, but now based on the article I read, I understand that it is a bigger problem. Please let me know any further information on how this issue is being resolved with Navient. Best wishes, - -
