Discover Credit card department,
I went - - military -/-/2013. I had an outstanding balance of over $1000.00 on my discover card. I left my finances in control of my financial broker as I was unable to control my accounts. After I left, my discover account had a fraud alert and was locked out. My broker was unable to regain access to pay the bill off the following month. When I regained control of the account I paid the debt in full. However, I was charged with a 30 day delinquency on all my credit reports. I have contacted Discover with this information on a yearly basis and even provided my military -. Although this is considered a valid charge the negative impact on my credit is damaging my job field in the military as I have a - in jeopardy. 7 years is a long time to punish someone with a good history of bill paying considering I had no control over the account and was on - - at the time. I would like the 30 day delinquency removed from the credit reporting agencies.
