JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
APR or interest rate New Jersey
After being - from - - status as a - - - my credit card company, Chase Bank Card Services decrease my credit limits and increase my APR rate with out notification. After contacting Chase JP Morgan bank, they claimed they received late payments. I advise them, I never paid my account late, and I was recently released from - - and was not given proper notice of any change in the card agreement or notice of changes in payments or new interest rate. My understanding SCRA trigger certain requirements under the Truth in Lending Act and Reg Z. Generally, a credit card company may only increase the interest rate and any fees or charges to the same amount that applied before the start of - - ; a 45-day advance notice of change in terms must be provided after a member is no longer on - - before the credit card company can increase the annual percentage rate to the contract rate, or increase any fees or other charges that were reduced or eliminated. This adverse action caused an adverse affect on my FICO score and made it difficulty for me in seeking future gainful employment, and has caused challenging experience refinancing my home mortgage.
