I used to have an account with - -. Now I am filing my taxes, I find out that my loan is owned by some company called Navient. Nobody from - - ever told me my lender was changing and nobody from Navient has ever contacted me. I had a fixed payment amount with - - before this change. It was approximately $150.00 per month. I 've been sending $170.00 each month to make sure I am paying the balance down. When I check on Navient 's website, it says i 'm past due because i 've been paying less than the minimum payment ... for many months. I do n't know how the funds are getting from - - to Navient, nor was I ever contacted to advise that my payment amount has increased or asked to agree to ANY change in terms for my account. I am not able to find any contact information for Navient. They have never sent me a statement, a single letter, or made any phone call to me.
