Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay
Santander Consumer USA Holdings Inc Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay South Carolina
I was a cosigner on an auto loan for my wife with Santander. We completed an online change of address with Santander on -/-/- from our - SC address to our - SC address after relocating. My wife and I later separated. She contacted Santander in - - and requested a voluntary repossession on the vehicle after financially not being able to afford it. I was not made aware of this until reviewing my credit report. Santander never contacted me regarding this. They never advised me that this repossession was taking place. I was denied the opportunity, as a signer on the loan, to keep the vehicle and make good on the account. I contacted Santander in writing on -/-/- advising them that my rights had been violated and that as a resolution, I requested my account be deleted with the credit reporting agencies and my financial responsibility be terminated. They responded in writing with a copy of a letter sent to my old address, which I never received.
