DriveTime Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay Indiana
DT received a insurance lease gap payment final date -/-/- from - due to accident -/-/- Claim -, after final payment was received I spoke with a gentleman at DT that advised all accounts were closed and removed from CBR which was confirmed once all - CBR had DT closed, -/-/- I received a letter advising of such Balance of $1700.00 with a settlement request. I spoke with a female rep from DT ( - ) - that advised indeed what the gentleman advised was correct and account will be removed out of collections and no more correspondence would be received. Letter dated -/-/- advises another attempt to collect ( - letter a year- failed at due diligence and collection attempts ) Account Manager advised no there were no notations advising of what each rep advised but noted that I contacted. Transferred to a " manager '' advises that same. I advised her to pull the call and she advised she COULD NOT, I advised her what I was advised for going on 2 years and advised I would file a complaint to get this rectified since she was not gone to attempt to resolve my minor issue.
purposes. I told the rep that their resolution was not acceptable as they had not even listen to said calls I mentioned above. I contacted DT - back on -/-/- and was advised the same thing, that they have not reviewed the calls yet and I could settle. I advised the rep who was not -, that they should call me back after they reviewed the calls so they could finally resolve my issue besides trying to get me to settle on said balance that was supposedly " paid in full '' advised by - of their reps. The - rep advised that I had requested on -/-/- to place a Cease and Desist on my account, this in fact was false and advised her to remove it because why would I request to place a C & D on my account when my issue has not been resolved. As well as advised her to review that call, because placing a C & D on someone 's account is not legal without their authorization and working with Charged Off Private Loans, it can lead to that account being placed with a Cease and Desist Law Firm.
