I went into the bank on a Saturday and asked the teller to look up my account and issue me the balance of the account. I did not specify the amount as I wanted to make sure any pending transactions or charges I was not aware of in the past 24 hours since reviewing my balance were accounted for. I did not specify how to issue these funds as I did not care. I was issued a cashiers check that day. I received an overdraft notice a week later advising that I was - overdrawn with that transaction and was incurring a fee. I tried to resolve the issue by asking why the - overdraft and why they felt it moral to charge me continually fee upon fee on what, I believe, is a charge not accounted for for the cashiers check she issued. I 've been refused a waiver of these fees, instead they continue to charge me and send threating letters. I 'm asking that they explain how the - overdraft was incurred and waive the astronomical fees ( over - now ) on this - overdraft error they caused.
