I am the personal representative of my father estate. I have been trying to get my home refinanced for several years now. However the mortgage provider will not allow me to do so because the mortgage is not in my name. They seem to not understand that i 'm trying to get it in my name. I have provided them the court order from the judge making me the only person to have access granted to the mortgage to make changes needed to help me lower my monthly payment. this has been an ongoing battle for years. i 've fallen behind in payments simply because i can not make ends meet. I have sent them copies of court ordered documents and death certificates back in - i have yet to have had any luck with this company in helping me with my problem. i have a right to protect my fathers home that he left for me.
