VA mortgage Application, originator, mortgage broker New Mexico

- of LoanDepot called me -/-/- about refinancing my house with a VA loan. I sent them all of the requested paperwork, plus they charged my Visa credit card $200.00 for an appraisal. A few days later, his supervisor - called and told me a few things that - never told me. - also told me that I am NOT exempt from the VA Funding Fee. I have been - - with the VA since -/-/-. I called the VA and they told me that I AM exempt from the VA Funding Fee, and the VA told me not to do business with LoanDepot. Five days before the appraisal was to be done, I called the appraisal company and cancelled the appraisal, so the appraisal never took place. Since then, I have requested twice that LoanDepot refund me the $200.00 I paid for the appraisal that had been cancelled. To this day, LoanDepot has refused to issue me a refund.
