'' Mail : TransUnion LLC -. - - -, PA - I explained to a TRANSUNION representative that - refunded a $10.00 fee the day after receiving a faxed police report. My understanding of - law in this regard is that a refund is required. A TRANSUNION representative stated that if I had made the freeze request by phone, the TRANSUNION representative would have suggested a no-fee credit fraud alert until such time as I had a police report. Therefore, my $10.00 fee would not be refunded. I believe that TRANSUNION has engaged in deceptive practices in this matter.
