BB&T Financial Bank Account Or Service Complaint

Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low

BB&T Financial Bank account or service department,

Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low North Carolina

I have - bank accounts with BB & T, neither are used as overdraft protection for the other because I preemptively " opted out '' for both accounts with the understanding that BB & T would decline all transactions if/when my accounts have insufficient funds. On - -, 2016 BB & T transferred $140.00 out of - of my bank accounts without my permission. The $140.00 was apparently taken to pay off a $5.00 service fee and $140.00 of overdraft fees amassed from $45.00 being pulled from my account as result of - 's default settings. Again, my understanding of the " opt-out '' option was that the bank would decline all transactions if funds were not available. Nonetheless, I have made a voluntary payment of $45.00 within the last 30 days, but the forced transfer of $140.00 on - - was done without my permission and to my detriment as I have other, more pressing expenses to handle right now.
