Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low
PNC Bank N.A. Bank account or service department,
Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low Pennsylvania
Hi my name is -, Iam writing because I have medical issues that interfere with me constantly checking my account. I signed up with email and text notifications to alert me of any, including overdrafts I may incur due to the banks inaccurate online statements of available balances. Well Friday I was highly upset due to not knowing I had insufficient funds in my account. Yes I am now aware that merchants do n't necessarily take funds out according to the order in which they were made. So at the time, I thought I had a balance in my account. The problem is the transaction happened Wednesday and I did n't receive an overdraft notification until Friday at - in the morning. If the notification was sent at a more accurate time to allow me time to cover the funds, I would have done so before - the prior day which is what a bank representative told me, would prevent the overdraft, but clearly if my balance is showing overdrawn not to my knowledge, the reason for signing up for notifications is pointless. Please help in this matter as I am never able to make resolve with my bank. I was charged an iverdraft fee and would like a refund due to the lack if the bank not notifying me or allowing me enough time to cover the fee like their policies state. Thank you
