Bank of America Debt Collection Complaint

Credit card Improper contact or sharing of info talked to a third party about my debt

Bank of America Debt collection department,

Credit card Improper contact or sharing of info Talked to a third party about my debt South Carolina

Bank of America called my place of employment and left a message with a coworker for me to call the number on the back of my card. The perception that I was past due was clearly communicated with my coworker. I called Bank of America on -/-/16 and was told that this was not their standard procedure, but after they reviewed the recording and verified the conversation and they did tell my coworkers to call the number on the back of my card, they called me on -/-/16 and said they found no issue with their employee telling my coworkers to call the number on the back of my card. I feel the perception that I owed them money with this message is a problem and leaving a number to call me back on would have been a better alternative. I do believe they have committed a UDAP and I would like their policy changed to protect other consumers.
