I occasionally use my Ebay account to purchase items over the internet. Since I 've had horrible results with Paypal in the past, I 've set my Ebay account preferences to always default to using my - - as the form of payment. On - -, of last year I purchased -, minor sewing machine parts from a single vendor, via Ebay. The order totaled $38.00. I made a payment to my - card to cover it, and thought it done, until this week. I received a paper statement from Paypal, telling me that only - of the items was charged to my -, and that the other - were charged to Paypal credit, totally unbeknownst to me. I do not have a Paypal credit account, never wanted -, and never agreed to the terms of -. They 'd been charging me 100 % /month late fees, for three months, and that my account was now overdue, and I now owed over $100.00. - one hour phone calls with Paypal, and - with Ebay, failed to rectify this, with Paypal insisting I pay the total balance now due. I refused, and sincerely hope you stop Paypal from using it 's insider/subsidiary position as the processor of Ebay credit card purchases to poach credit customers from other, legitimate credit card companies.
