Discover Credit card department,
I am writing to you because I have no other alternative. I can not stand for my rights to continue being violated by Discover Bank. The root of the situation is that Discover Bank is reporting my credit card opened on - -, 2011 as Status - Account included in Bankruptcy. THIS ACCOUNT WAS NEVER INCLUDED IN BANKRUPTCY. The Chapter - bankruptcy that I filed was a business bankruptcy and the discharge did not include any of my personal accounts. The credit bureaus keep telling me that they ca n't change the " Status - Included in Bankruptcy '' tag, because they say that it was reported to them by Discover Bank.
Discover has treated me like a second class citizen and has completely disrespected me at every turn. Because of this experience, I feel like I have been maliciously violated and deeply wounded by Discover. Having this mortgage incorrectly say that it was included in bankruptcy is stopping me from getting a small business loan needed for my business to operate. This is like pouring salt into the wound. I am begging you to demand that Discover Bank send me a letter of apology for these violations of my Civil Rights. Additionally, please have them immediately remove any reference to Status - " Included in bankruptcy '' from my consumer credit files with -, -, - and - credit bureaus. Thank you VERY much for existing to help the " little guy '' in this world. I very much wish that there were more of you.
