Unable to get credit report/credit score problem getting report or credit score
TransUnion Credit reporting department,
Unable to get credit report/credit score Problem getting report or credit score California
I currently have an initial fraud alert on my file with all - bureaus. TransUnion even sent me a confirmation notice that this initial fraud alert was issued as of -/-/2015 and would remain for 90 days. I attempted to receive my FREE copy of my credit report under FEDERAL law with TransUnion on their website. I followed the correct prompts regarding my reason - fraud alert - and was promptly told to pay $8.00 because I live in California. My request is not a just-because that would qualify for a fee charge ; this is in conjunction with my initial fraud alert! I am illegally being redirected by TransUnion to pay for a free report I am entitled to based on FEDERAL law.
