I have asked Sallie Mae numerous times to stop harassing me. I have been threatended by several Sallie mae agents that i can face federal prison, I can be arrested at my place of work and that I can be sued in court. They have called the Senior Vice President of my Company, My sister-in-law, they have left voice messages on my direct supervisors phone and my home and cell phone. They have even sent fax messages to my office. I have developed severe anxiety and have told them that I am unable to make any payments of any kind to my loan. I 've provided my financial information and monthly budget to prove that I cant afford payments, yet somehow they think that I am still capable of paying loans with a monthly income of $1600.00. I have given them the break down of the cost of rent ( $ -month ), insurance/medical costs ( $ -month ), Utilities ( $ -month ), Electricity ( $ -month ), Winter heating ( $ -month ) gas/transportation ( $75.00 ), phone bill ( $100.00 ). At the end of the month I have $55.00 dollars left to pay for groceries, clothes,


money to qualify for welfare, subsidized housing or food stamps. I feel like I 'm drowning in a hole. Most if not all of my student loans are in default which has plunged my credit score to -. I ca n't afford to buy a car. These student loans have deeply affected my mental health, quality of life, self confidence and faith. At this point I do n't know who to talk to about this. I do n't even know if anyone is actually reading this paragraph but I feel helpless and unprotected. My biggest mistake in life was attending a university. I would have been better of going to a community college. Also, your drop down options only allow me to check - box. I need to check off - more.
