I co signed a car loan for my daughter after it was all said and done i was first on the loan. My daughter made payments Santander applied payment to the wrong account once that started my daughter got behind on her payments. Santander never once called me or sent me a letter to inform me that the payments were late and not made. With my name being first on the loan i would have thought the banking institution would have called me. When i found out the car was repo i called Santander to try and fix the problem. I could have got the car back for - but, that was not the final fees once i went to pick up the car it was another $1200.00 for fees towing, impound, cleaning, storing, gate fee etc. I was never told that by Santander. If Santander would have notified me I would have made the late/ missing payments ( - ). There are bad reviews on this bank they are sneaky and not willing to be ethical in there business.
