I called discover card -/-/- to tell them that I lost my card. They froze the card and told me I would not have to worry about any charges on the card. I even asked if this applied to recurring charges from subscriptions. They said yes there would be - charges on my account until I gave them my new credit card number. After checking my credit card statement, they lied and there was charges on my card. Why are there charges on an account that was reported lost? Discover should be liable for these charges after lying to me.
