Hi, Discover is engaging in false advertisement and tricky practices, taking customer for a ride by using the - - - % cash back promotion. They say that they will give 10 % cash back on purchases made by - pay. Seeing this consumers like me go to the stores which accept apply pay. At the checkout the - does not work as the card is getting declined. The merchant shows that similar apple pay transactions work fine with other credit card companies. This problem is only because of discover. Already since I have waited so long in line I go ahead with the purchase and pay using manual swipe of the card. Also at the same time I call discover customer service and they confirm that problem is with them. Also they agree that they will compensate the customer for the lost cash back bonus. On subsequent follow up they do not agree to credit the bonus as per the promotion and only apply 1 time courtesy bonus of - % which is way less the - % promotional bonus. This is completely unethical and cheating.
