Checking account Deposits and withdrawals Pennsylvania

I had a checking account with Suntrust Bank and on - - I deposited - checks in the amounts of $900.00, $900.00, $600.00 and on - - I went into check my account to make sure all the checks were in my account. The reason for the money is I am out of work and a friend was helping me catch up my mortgage so they did not foreclose on me. I Suntrust at the end of - or the beginning of - and talked with a customer service rep to let them know I would be making a deposit because my account was overdrawn. He informed me that my checking acct would not be in jepardy for closing until the end of - if I did not bring it to a current balance and I made this deposit within a few days of talking with him.I called Suntrust and asked them what was going on and they informed me they did not have to tell me and that my account was being closed. My question is if they were closing my account why did n't they reject the deposits? And they told me I would have my money back by the -. Today is the - and I have no money back from Suntrust. I called and now they tell me there is an investigation??? On what??? I put money in the way i did because you can not deposit more than a $1000.00 a day online banking that is not hard to figure out. Now my friend had to come up with another $2400.00 to help me with my mortgage while Suntrust is sitting on my money. There is no question on my account. I would like my money returned to me asap. They chose not to do business with me and that is fine but get my money back to me so I can pay my friend back who has now been gracious enough to put out two times the amount of my back mortgage due.
