My ex-wife opened a credit card in my name with - - without my knowledge. The account went to collections and a judgement was awarded in - County WV -/-/-. The account was paid -/-/- but a release of the judgement has not been sent to the court. The account was transferred from - to Capitol One Bank before it was paid and I am told Capitol One is responsible for the release. They gave a lawyer a letter stating the debt paid however they have not submitted the proper paperwork to release the debt.
