Unable to get credit report/credit score Problem getting report or credit score Illinois
This does not fit this category but is related. When refinancing my mortgage 9 months ago, I could not get the lowest rate due to multiple inquiries by a Auto Dealer ( - - 's - - ) that ran my credit report - time for - transaction. Since then I signed up for - - to monitor my credit score. My mortgage broken called and ask if I would like to re-finance again as now my credit score is higher and I cab get a better rate. From - - and my - - I knew credit score had improved. As of -/-/15 - reported : TransUnion -, - - and - - ( TransUnion ) -. The notice from the mortgage broker listed my scores as - -, TransUnion - and - -. Why are my scores different based on who is inquiring? A score is a score and should be the same no matter who inquires. I believe there is an unjust manipulation occurring. Also the reason for my credit score are also reported differently.I have too much available credit, but my outstanding balance to my available credit ratio is too high. If I reduce the amount of available credit, it impacts my outstanding balance to available credit ratio will increase. I have a derogatory public record or collection filed on my report. This was due to a medical bill that I was paying to the provider over a number of months. I was making payments, but they sent the account to collections. The collection company would not send monthly statements ( they do n't send monthly statement ), so I refused to pay until they did, they did and I have been making payments. I disputed with all - credit reporting companies, only - granted the request and has removed the dispute from my report, thus the higher score from -. I do n't mind playing the credit score game, but the rules need to be fair and consistent.
