Credit card protection / Debt protection New York

I was scammed from - purchases made from - using my Discover Card. Temporary credit was issued on - -, 2015. It allowed only 45 days for the merchant to reply, if not the case would end up in my favor. Discover Card reverted the credit PAST the 45 days on - -, 2015. I would like my credit back.
