Discover Credit card department,
I am writing to complain about Discover, which has repeatedly used deceitful practices to attempt to collect payment on unpaid balances. I guess from their perspective they want money no matter how they can get it. Discover card has created another division ( Discover It ) which it uses to sell financial products to lower end '' consumers. This division, I believe, has been specifically tasked with accidentally '' engaging in payment fraud to cause trouble for their customers. On - occasion, Discover scheduled a duplicate payment. Because Discover suspects the customers of their inferior Discover It products have less money, they do this to gauge which customers can be more easily taken advantage of. Since the amount of money is something that can be accessed from third party companies, it is reasonable to think this is no coincidence. I contacted Discover about a late payment. I let them know I have no income and no savings ; I simply can not pay. They re-enrolled me in autopay. I believe they have designed their online pay portal to intentionally mislead consumers into believing that they have disabled autopay, only to continue drawing money. If I ca n't pay, I ca n't pay. Discover has no right to show their customers fraudulent information and overdraw people who are already destitute just to get as much money as they can from high-risk borrowers.
