Navy FCU Consumer loan department,
Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease Louisiana
In - my now ex-husband and I obtained an auto loan with Navy FCU. At the time we were separated and he was responsible for making the payments since he did have possession of the auto. I was informed at one point that the loan was behind and when I spoke directly to their customer service department I was told that out of 40 months - payment were late. I was also informed that the loan was refinanced to lower the payments and that I was still responsible. I did not sign any paperwork for any type of changes to the initial loan. I did not receive notice nor copies of the paperwork and it is still reporting on my credit report. I am sending a copy of the letter that was mailed to Navy Federal Credit Union requesting documentation of the account changes showing I am responsible. This was mailed - - -. They questioned them in - all they would state was that it was done legally. I want this removed off my report, I did not receive anything from them after requesting information and I did not sign any type of modification paperwork. I have disputed with the - major credit reporting agencies and I 'm unclear how they are able to validate anything if I can not even get a copy of the paperwork that pertains to this just how are they? I want this removed.
