I had an item that I wanted to sell and I used the services that ebay provided. Ebay directed me to set up an account with Paypal so that I would be able to receive payment when the item sold. I accessed Paypal through the ebay page and began to register my bank accounting and personal information. While going through the application process they asked me to verify the small deposit ( s ) that was credited to my bank account as a way of verifying my identity. Paypal also sent me an email stating that they needed to verify my email address as well. In checking my email I noticed several e-mails from Paypal. One of which was an application saying that I was denied credit from Paypal. I immediately said what? '' outloud because I was n't applying for credit but entered in personal/ banking information so that I would be able to receive payments if I sold the item on ebay. I did n't knowingly or intentionally, for that matter, want a credit account with Paypal. In fact I was not even aware Paypal offered credit lines.
