Other (phone, health club, etc.) Disclosure verification of debt Not disclosed as an attempt to collect Minnesota
The company took illegal action against me but your forced choice format does n't allow me to select an appropriate option. They wrecked my credit rating after contacting you for a bill that had already been paid. It is also a continuation of an attempt to collect a debt I do not owe because my wife sent them checks but they simply did n't cash it. I understand I still need to pay them but they are simply not cashing the checks. We have carbon copies within a checkbook and well as torn off bank statements so we strongly believe we did everything in our power to pay the debt off. However, your forced choice format does n't allow a response. It 's also false statements because they told the CPFB they did n't know who I was when they must have. They contacted me immediately after the CPFB closed the case. However, your forced choice format does n't have an option for this false statement. It 's improper contact because they should have gone through the CPFB channels when the complaint was open. Instead, they contacted me immediately after it was closed. However, your forced choice format options do
who I was all along. I identified the bill in the question and checked with my wife who had already paid it and which I have ample documentation to prove. The CFPB chose to close the case even though the company had not responded and I did n't owe the bill they claimed I owed and had destroyed my credit rating which made no sense because they left my wife 's credit rating alone even though the bill in question was on a joint account. The CFPB also ignored that my credit rating was destroyed two days after I contacted them when the bill had already been paid.
