VA mortgage Loan servicing, payments, escrow account California

I have a VA loan through Stonegate Mortgage - - -, I prefer to make my payments on the - and the -, it simply prevents me from using any of the money that needs to go into my mortgage and is a convenience for me. Stonegate has been taking my payments from the -, placing it in a holding account and NEVER applying it to my mortgage. Then, they reported me to credit reporting agencies AND charged me a late fee, when I was actually early and paid them more than my actual mortgage.
