Carrington Mortgage Services is trying to raise my mortgage payment $ -/mo stating that there is an escrow deficiency. There are many similar stories online after CMS takes over a loan that they have purchased. This creates a hardship and seems predatory. I am nervous to pay them based on others stories that they will squeeze this out of me with no justification
