DriveTime Consumer loan department,
Vehicle loan Managing the loan or lease Utah
I paid off my financed vehicle early (ahead of the loan maturity date) at full non-discounted price, and still not have received my title after a month has passed. I need the title desperately, so I can re-register it in my new state as I recently moved (and my old state registration has lapsed). After 20 Business days and counting, I just learned they (DriveTime) only now released their lien and requested a new title yesterday with the old state I had lived. I am advised this can be a few more weeks before I receive my title which will be multiple months after I paid in full? This is ridiculous mishandling of the closing process especially since I requested it to be expedited.
