I subscribe to a credit monitoring service and was recently alerted that a hard credit inquiry from -/- had been registered on my - credit report. After doing some initial research, it seems that other consumers have identified this bank as - of the lenders behind the PayPal BillMeLater '' feature. While I am a PayPal customer, I did not sign up for this feature nor did I authorize them to pull my credit. I have disputed the inquiry with -. I want to make sure this inquiry is reversed and no account is opened as a result to prevent fraudulent use of a financial account established using my identity.
