Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine New Hampshire

Apparently I have a name that 's easy to search and find mailing address and phone number. Consequently I receive dunning phone calls and letters demanding payment of debts that are not mine. NEVER mine. It seems to me the callers could take - more minute on the internet and confirm I 'm not the person they 're looking for. I 'm absolutely sick of these calls and letters and can not find any way to stop them. I suggest a regulation that mandates some level of validation before these collection agencies take the easy way and just call or write everyone, hoping to get a response from the - they 're really after.
