I had medical issues and was hospitalized and while in the hospital my daughter was handling my finances. I did not realize she had not been paying the mortgage payment for three months. As soon as I found out I called my servicer Seterus and asked for a repayment plan. They refused and said I had to pay the full amount past due which I did not have. I did have the ability to enter into a repayment plan at that time though. Two months later after they said they would do a repayment plan but the amount was more than my monthly income. Since they would not do a repayment plan initially they have added so many additional fees the amount is unreasonable.
