I asked a loans officer who had previously help me obtain a previous mortgage what thee estimated cost would be for a new mortgage for a new home I wanted to look. I wanted to get ahead of the curve by knowing what my estimated closing cost were and the rate based on current 30 year fixed rates. However, the loan officer took it upon herself to pull my previous file and run my credit with out my permission. It came as a shock when she sent me the credit report.
