Wells Fargo Bank Account Or Service Complaint

Checking account Making/receiving payments, sending money

Wells Fargo Bank account or service department,

Checking account Making/receiving payments, sending money Virginia

I found out that a loan I had was with a lender that is void in my state, and that the loan that I had with them was considered void in my state. I notified the lender, -, that the installment loan online I had with them was void in my state, meaning that it should never have been offered to a resident of my state. I also made a letter out to my bank, Wells Fargo, notifying them that the lender was not authorized to debit from my account, and that I wanted them to return monies sent to the originating institution ( lender 's bank ) and to give the ACH transcript for that originating bank. I called the bank to see how to and where top submit my letter on - -. I was told that I had to file a claim over the phone with the bank, which I did, and I asked if they could attach my letter and other documentation to the claim filed so that my request was also in writing. I faxed the letter to the claims department as I was told to do. When I called to called to check on

other documents, so she said she would send it again with a note, and that I should call back the next day, - -. When I called back on - -, I spoke to a different person, who said that they denied my claim. The banker from the claims department stated that they could not reimburse me because I had signed a contract ( even thought the contract with - is null and void ) and that they had nothing to do with the matter. To get my funds back, I would have to contact the lending company directly. She said that Wells Fargo had rules they had to abide by, and that they had even if the company was working illegally, that they ( Wells Fargo ) would have nothing to do with it. I also never received the ACH transcript that was requested, so that I could request the funds from the originating institution that facilitated a void loan.
