Settled debt with - - - -. ( Discover ) for less than full amount on -/-/15. They took payment and told me that I would get a letter noting this after 21 business days had passed based on what some bank told them they need to do. I have called them @ - a total of - times requesting this letter and have been told that it was mailed but have not rec 'd it. After calling again today -/-/15 ( - --ext - ), I was told that - of their attorneys has to approve the letter being sent but they would not allow me to speak with this attorney for clarification. I asked for a supervisor ( - --ext - ) but was told he was too busy to speak with me. I believe that I am getting the run around '' and would like to file a complaint as this seems to be an unfair debt collection practice.
