Credit card Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine North Carolina

I am being accused of having a Discover Card debt that I did n't pay off, so Discover has turned over the account to another company ; - - - - - - - - to harass me. I knew nothing about this, I 've NEVER used a credit card, the name is not even my legal name, now a sheriff served my mom papers where this attorney office is threatening to seize my properties! This is so wrong to do to people! I 'VE NEVER OPENED A CREDIT CARD!!!!
