Navy FCU Credit card unsolicited issuance of credit card June 27, 2016 - I received - cards in the mail today, unsolicited, from Navy Federal Credit Union. These included a Visa credit card under my name, a Visa debit card under my name, and a Visa credit card under the name of a total stranger. I did not request these cards. I called Navy Federal and canceled the cards, but they could not tell me how or why I was sent these cards. I believe that sending unsolicited cards is not legal and seek your advice.... |
Navy FCU Credit card unsolicited issuance of credit card March 13, 2016 - My husband and I have had the same ( nRewards VISA ) joint credit card account with NFCU for over 20 yrs ( expiration date -/-/- ). -/-/-, he received a notice by mail from NFCU 's VP of credit cards ( - - ), saying that he had been selected for an automatic upgrade to a " VISA Signature Go Rewards Card '', and to expect it soon, in the mail. Two days later ( -/-/- ), we received the new cards ( also with the expiration date of -/-/- ) - The account number under his name was still the same, as our current VISA.
