April 4, 2015 - My father was a - Veteran. He purchased a home using a FHA loan in -/-/-. In -/-/- he passed away. None of the heirs are in a good enough financial position to assume the loan. I am the youngest son and I am actually living in the house right now but I am unemployed and do not qualify for a loss mitigation program. The house was put up for sale with no success.
