The company added an unexplained $140.00 fee when I was moving out. I made it clear I would n't pay it without a good explanation. They provided a list of payments but there was none missed except for an alleged - from a past rate increase 6 months earlier that I pointed out had arrived too late for the required 30 days ahead. They are showing that I owe a judgement from -/-/07. This no longer appears on my credit report either. How long can a debt collector continue to collect on old debt?
