U.S. Bancorp Credit card sale of account October 18, 2016 - I had a credit card with one bank and they sold it to another bank. I did not get notice of the sale. When I went online to see if I owed money to the credit card the following month, the site said my account was no longer open. I did n't know why my account was n't open, but I did n't have time to deal with it as other life emergencies were taking precedence. Later, I received a letter from the new owner of my account saying that it was past due. I called the number on the letter and found out that my account was sold but still exists. U.S. Bancorp Credit card sale of account August 16, 2016 - - transferred my - card into a - - card. When they did so, they failed to maintain my auto-bill information on file and did not notify that such information would not be transferred. As a result, my payment was not auto-paid as I requested. I now have a derogatory mark on my credit score that will not go away for 7 years. I would like - to clear the derogatory mark and waive all late fees and interest charges associated with their failed transfer.... |
U.S. Bancorp Credit card sale of account July 28, 2016 - My Fidelity Rewards Credit Card account was sold to Elan Financial. Neither - ( who had managed the account ) nor Elan Financial notified me of the change in account status. They also failed to send me a new card and I only found out about the change because my old card stopped working at merchants. Wait time to connect with an Elan Financial representative was over 20 minutes, twice. It is lucky I caught it now because payment is coming due next week and would have gone to the old address ( and been denied ) rather than the new Elan Financial payment address.
