Barclays Credit card forbearance / workout plans January 11, 2016 - I filed a previous complaint about Barclays Bank because their records were in such bad shape that I could not get anyone to discuss my charged off account so that I could settle it. ( They thought it was with a collection agency, the collection agency said it was still with Barclays, this went on despite many many phone calls trying to find someone who would accept a payment ) My previous CFPB complaint prompted action from their president 's office to fix those issues so that I was able to enter into a settlement agreement.
