Citizens Financial Group, Inc. Bank account or service using a debit or atm card May 15, 2016 - Back on - -, 2016 someone someho stole my debit card. I had only $180.00 in my account. By the time the thief got through I was $1300.00 overdrawn. I filed a complaint immediately, the bank sent an affidavit which I filled out and returned. Then I called Card Services. They told me this would be settled in 5 to 10 business days. So here it is, - - and I 'm still waiting for my money. They claim they already returned $800.00 one day and $200.00 on another. Bank account or service using a debit or atm card April 29, 2016 - I found fraudulent charges on my checking account twice, citizens bank did not catch these transactions. After filing the paperwork to have them investigate these charges and opening a new bank account with citizens bank they placed the compromised account in " credit only '' status and the account had a - balance, it was suppose to close 7 days later. This was -/-/2016, today is -/-/2016 and citizens bank informed me I owe them $140.00 that has since been withdrawn/overdrawn. How did this happen? If it was at - dollars, did bank fees cause this? Bank account or service using a debit or atm card April 12, 2016 - Citizens Bank ( CFG ) counts it against the bankers if the customers choose to opt out of the debit card coverage. Therefore some bankers encourage their customers to opt in so that their cross sell ratio on new accounts is not negatively effected. If this happens to you, leave. Or just leave now. They do not know what they are doing. ... |

Got so humiliated when my debit card did n't work, for the first time in my life! Eventually they forced me in to closing it ...!!!?? I have talked to many people from the bank but nobody is telling me what happened and why? They did mention something about being born in - ( -, which was decades ago!! )!? But that 's it!
