Out of the 13 consumer complaints against Navy FCU, 15% were disputed by the consumer (i.e. the consumer was not happy with how Navy FCU responded to their complaint) and 100% were processed in a timely manner. 8% of consumer complaints against Navy FCU resulted in the consumer receiving monetary compensation (e.g. money, cash reimbursement, etc.) and 15% resulted in non-monetary compensation.

Navy FCU Mortgage settlement process and costs April 12, 2016 - During our closing of our house via a VA Assumption Loan ( # - ) with Navy Federal Credit Union, we the - 's ( sellers ) were misinformed of the meaning of escrow documents. This misinformation was the explanation of why we did not receive the remainder of our escrow upon closing. I have e-mail documentation of this misinformation between our Loan Officer - - as well as NFCU has notes in their system from the calls I made.
