Astoria Bank Bank account or service making/receiving payments, sending money January 20, 2016 - On - -, -, someone presented a check for cash which was debited from my bank account. It was a small amount of - dollars. I contacted my bank and they quickly put the money back into my account. The bank and I agreed that the account numbers were just - digit different and the customer 's signature overlapped that digit to make it to look like an - instead of a -.
