CIT Bank National Association Mortgage settlement process and costs April 16, 2015 - During my Mortgage signing process in 2007 at my home, the only people in attendance was the Title Company Representative and myself. I am the only person who signed the original documents. The Title Company Representative said that she would sign her section when she returned to the office. I questioned that process, she stated that it was normal to do it this way. A Notary was not present to witness/verify signatures. She also stated that was normal also.
