Valley National Bank Mortgage application, originator, mortgage broker July 13, 2015 - I applied online for a refinance, and the GFE that was generated did not remain the same after I spoke with an agent the first time. On -/-/15, I paid the lock-in fee of $490.00 for which the agreement said I could rescind it if I did n't yet receive countersigned documents. I rescinded the agreement on -/-/15 because I became distrustful of the process and agent. Plus, I had n't received any documents. Valley National Bank Mortgage application, originator, mortgage broker April 1, 2015 - I applied for a refinance with this bank based on Radio commercials calling for a - refinance. The issue I have was that theyrequire you to fill out a mortgage application and require you to pull your credit, PRIOR to requiring you to pay the nonrefundable - fee. I contacted - - who put me in touch with her Manager - - - - regarding themain issue is the fact that they require you to pull your credit prior to disclosing the fee.
